Ekpedeftiki Paremvasi participates as a partner in the Erasmus+ project n. 2021-2-PL01-KA210-VET-000050808 – “Internationalization of Vocational Education in the Tourism Industry (Hotels and Gastronomy), Combining Post-Pandemic Experiences of Employers and Vocational Training Providers”.
The aim of the project is to internationalize vocational education in the tourism industry combining post-pandemic experiences of employers and vocational training providers.
The project objectives will be achieved by:
- conducting study visits among Partners presenting post-pandemic practices of the tourism industry and presenting remote methods and tools for vocational education,
- conducting research on the needs of employers in the tourism industry from different countries in terms of competence and professional gaps in the labour market and collecting results in form of a report,
- development of a manual covering remote forms and tools of professional support and testing them in the form of workshops by a project team of 10 persons (teachers, trainers, methodologists and persons responsible for organisation of professional support, such as project managers),
- Dissemination activities: knowledge sharing meetings of the project team in their institutions, online distribution of the materials to the employers who cooperate with the Partners and who will be involved in the results consultation process through mailings, social media and uploading of the produced documents on Erasmus+ results platforms and partners’ website
The project took place between 2021 and 2023.
