The Aim of the Project
Career Compass will serve people in career crossroads and seeking employment, especially those in a vulnerable position, by creating them a training and toolkit for career path, skill and opportunity identification and planning, which might also mean returning to education.
The customisable areas of training and the toolkit make it adaptable for different kinds of learners. The training will be supported by user guides for learners and trainers.
An online training and toolkit that can be used independently and in blended learning as well.
The project will use designerly approaches and human-oriented methods.
The Main Activity Areas of the Project
- Discover and identify experiences, wishes and good practices on job search & career training. Create the framework for training and a framework guide with recommendations.
- Develop: Creating the training & toolkit on skills, competence and career identification.
- Enable future use of the outcomes: Pilot the training, run training of trainers, and create user guides for it based on this experience.
- Promote and communicate the project and its outcomes.
The Main Results of the Projec
- Training framework and guide identifying such as challenges areas, opportunities and needs. (WP2)
- Training and toolkit for career path identification and development. (WP3)
- A user guide for TG1: people in career crossroads and seeking employment, especially those in a vulnerable position, to support independent and trainer-led learning. (WP4)
- A user guide for TG2: employment & career trainers, counsellors & facilitators, employment offices & continuous training to support training delivery. (WP4)
